About Emily Barton Design
Emily has a passion for spatial design and for working on a large scale. With nearly a decade of experience, she is well versed in creating site specific commercial installations that highlight brands and their products. There is nothing more exciting than to see an unfinished building, a blank wall or space transformed into a visual experience. Incorporating unique, experiential design elements into your space will set you apart from your competition and strengthen your brand identity while building customer interest and loyalty. She often incorporates unexpected materials into her work as a way of surprising and delighting customers, drawing them into an installation or design. Emily is an interdisciplinary artist with experience working with most materials. Whether it’s wood, metal, fiber, paper, plaster or even preserved and dried natural elements, she enjoys finding the right balance of materials that will work to enforce your brand messaging and visually elevate your space.
Emily has extensive experience building fixtures and furniture for commercial spaces. She believes that the functional elements of your space should be designed with your brand’s aesthetic in mind. Everything from a custom built counter for your coffee shop, shelving to showcase the products in your salon, or racks and fixtures to display apparel or home goods, she’s got you covered. We can work together to create the prefect balance of form and function for your business.
