Bohème Salon

In 2020, Emily Barton Design was tasked with designing product shelving and a custom art installation for Bohéme Salon located in Greenville, SC. The product shelving built by Emily was designed to be open and minimal in style to encourage and invite salon guests to easily browse and shop products. The custom art installation above the stations was designed to be light, airy and inspired by nature. Natural and recycled elements were included in the installation because it is an eco friendly salon. The installation was comprised of foraged Lunaria plants, dried eucalyptus with touches of gold leafing, hand formed vintage brass wire pieces, brass roof flashing and paper maché pieces made with recycled tracing paper. The mobile like structure at the top of the installation was soldered by hand using brass rod.
